「Hello From Slime Molds」is a mixed media installation. After the sound sensor receives the human voice, it is converted into light intensity change, thus affecting the growth of slime molds. The affected slime molds can be manipulated by a computer to produce sounds. This way I had a friendly conversation with my pet- the slime molds in a petri dish.
